The R/C Model Helicopters: A Guide for Beginners by Peter Wales is written in a light-hearted style and covers everything the beginner needs to know: from choosing or building the model to installing the components of the radio. It covers electric power as well as internal combustion engines and includes tips and advice on buying, building, flying and maintaining model helicopters. The author was a complete beginner himself until recently, but now flies regularly in national F3C competitions.
